The College of Surgeons of East, Central and Southern Africa (COSECSA) learnt with profound shock and grief of the passing on of Professor Kien Alfred Mteta that occurred on 21/11/2023.
Professor Kien Alfred Mteta, a long serving Fellow and Council Member of the College has been a valuable Surgeon serving as a COSECSA Council Member in the capacity of a Country Representative of the United Republic of Tanzania and a Programme Director at Kilimanjaro Christian Medical Centre (KCMC). We at COSECSA appreciate his contribution and service towards the College and the Surgical fraternity at large. Please accept our heartfelt condolences during this time of mourning and grief.
