COSECSA, with research support from the Intuitive Foundation, is pleased to invite applications for the 2024 COSECSA-Intuitive Foundation Travel Award. This award aims to provide opportunities for trainees and fellows who are interested in research and have innovative findings to present at the COSECSA Annual Scientific Conference. Submitted topics must be relevant to surgery, and applicants should demonstrate their long-term interest and involvement in global surgery research.
The travel award will fund travel, visa fee, accommodation and per-diem for 4 successful applicants during their stay in Zimbabwe for the 24th COSECSA Annual Scientific Conference, which will be held in Harare, Zimbabwe, on December 5–6, 2024. Awardees will also have the opportunity to participate in a Research Methodology Courses organized during the conference. Only applicants whose abstracts are accepted for presentation at the COSECSA scientific conference will be considered for this award.
ELIGIBILITY CRITERIA
To be considered for this award, the applicant MUST be:
- A Registered COSECSA Trainee or:
- A COSECSA Fellow In good standing
- Abstract accepted for presentation at the 24th COSECSA Annual Scientific Conference
