The RCSI/COSECSA Collaboration Programme is offering grants of up to $3,000 to support global surgery research in East, Central, and Southern Africa. This initiative aims to address the lack of surgical research in the region and foster future global surgery researchers.
Eligibility:
- COSECSA Fellows in good standing or trainees enrolled in COSECSA programs
- Interest in global surgery, surgical training, or patient care research
- Willingness to participate in research and mentorship training
Benefits:
- Funding for small research projects
- Mentorship and membership in the Global Surgery Research Group
Priority: Projects using existing, systematically collected data (e.g., surgical audits, patient registries, or COSECSA eLogbook training data) will be prioritized.
